This film is a 10 minute excerpt from a taster talk at Shamania 2008. It was given extemporaneously as are most of my events and isn’t the best example, but hey, it was filmed! So at least it can be shared here…

This short film introduces the various ‘levels’ of the science of sound, these are the ‘levels of penetration’ one can go when applying this science – each has its own nuances and requirements, just like the difference between analyzing and using objects, molecules, atoms and sub-atomic particles.

What makes this work a ’science’? Simply because it relates to rules that are already in place, and seeks to discover them – just like science. Secondly, it is repeatable, with repeatable results, which is another condition for a scientific principle to be accepted.
